It’s not too late to sign up to host the Carnival of Personal Finance through March 2007. If you’re interested, see this post for instructions.

There are only a few slots open this time around, so don’t be too offended if you’re not chosen. There will be many more opportunities throughout 2007. Sunday will be the last day to email us to be considered for hosting during the first quarter, and the schedule will be announced Monday or Tuesday.

Now Taking Requests for Future Hosts

Important Update: The schedule for the first quarter of 2007 is now full. We will begin taking requests to fill the second quarter during March. Stay tuned to carnivalofpersonalfinance.com for an announcement.

The Carnival of Personal Finance is now taking requests for hosts in the first three months of 2007. There are only a few slots to be filled, so they will likely fill quickly. Hosting the Carnival of Personal Finance is a great way to build traffic, be involved with the community, and showcase your creativity.

Before you take the plunge and request to host, make sure you read and understand the requirements of hosting. We want to maintain a strong identity and a unique approach, so some of the requirements are new and different than other Carnivals.

If you’re interested in hosting, email hostrequest at this domain (put “Carnival Hosting Request” in the subject) with the following information:

  • Your blog’s name and URL
  • Links to three Carnivals of Personal Finance within the last three months that contain one of your articles
  • Your number of unique visits (user sessions) per week, and the URL of a public SiteMeter page (or similar statistics) for verification
  • Links to any mentions of your blog in major online or traditional press
  • URLs of any Carnivals you’ve hosted in the past, Carnival of Personal Finance or otherwise

That’s it! The spots will be filled quickly, so email us as soon as possible.
